Sorgente Sant’Elena in Chianciano Terme

Founded in 1925, Sant’Elena Spring is located 550 meters above sea level on a charming hillside surrounded by centuries-old oaks, majestic cypresses, and silvery olive trees, forming an incomparable oasis of greenery and tranquility—a true "ecological sanctuary."

The park, sheltered by the hillside from winds and humidity, opens generously toward the valley, offering a magnificent panoramic view of the lakes of Chiusi, Montepulciano, and Trasimeno, as well as the peaks of Mount Amiata.

The oligomineral water of Sant’Elena springs forth near the ancient Chapel of Sant’Elena, from which it takes its name. For centuries, it has been used by the people of Chianciano and neighboring towns for its health benefits and medicinal properties (as documented by Dr. Baldassarri of Siena in 1756).

At Sant’Elena Spa, each day is an experience that blends hydropinic therapy with recreational, leisure, and cultural activities.

The thermal treatments (hydropinic cures), covered by the Italian National Health Service, take place in a vast Italian-style park of remarkable natural beauty.

This season the park and ticket office opening hours are every day from 14.04.2025 to 14.08.2025
